My Story

My name is LaTasha and I was born and raised in Port Arthur, TX. I moved to Houston a few years ago to begin my new journey and create new opportunities for me.

I have always had issues with hyperpigmentation on my skin and going to get facials at the spa often, can get expensive. So, I started mixing my own products and creating my own skin care routine, steaming my face and it worked. I would always get compliments on my natural glow. 

On my journey, I became a mom and my son developed eczema at three months. I bought every product that claimed to help with eczema and nothing was clearing his skin or helping him retain moisture. I would have to re apply products multiple times a day. After not being able to find anything that worked, I was inspired to create my own organic plant based skincare line. 

With my knowledge and experience from my own skin issues and now my son eczema, I wanted to help others. I created Blakskycosmetics to help heal and promote good healthy skin.
